Course
Offerings ~ Register
Location: All classes meet at the C.A.S.IT.,
Inc. offices located at 59 Union Square Suite 206 in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Registration: Early registration is highly recommended. One may
register in person, or by mail, by sending the application form and a
check in the amount of $200.00 payable to C.A.S.IT., Inc.
Tuition: $200.00 tuition includes semester-long free use of textbooks
and all instructional material as needed. Tuition must be paid in full
before the beginning of the first class.
Refunds: Participants who wish to withdraw from a class must notify
the instructor no later than the second class meeting. Tuition will be
refunded less an administration fee of $25.00. In the event the course
is cancelled, full tuition will be refunded.
Course Schedule: Fall, Winter, Spring and Early Summer sessions
are offered. Please call for dates.
Information: Each class is conducted in a small, individualized
setting for a period of 10 weeks, 2hrs. per week. Instruction is presented
by native speakers educators. Private classes are also offered upon
request at $50.00 per hour. For more information please call the C.A.S.IT.

Course Offerings - Choose one or more...
Elementary Italian I
This course is especially designed for the beginning student who has little or no previous experience with Italian. It emphasizes basic elements of the language: pronunciation, reading, writing and fundamentals of grammar. Cultural aspects of Italy will be presented in the course.
Elementary Italian II
It is a continuation of Elementary Italian I. Students will review and learn new grammar patterns and idiomatic expressions for the purpose of
increasing understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Intermediate Italian I
This course will offer extensive and intensive oral practice in Italian
supplemented by further work in grammar, conversation, and composition. Cultural videos will provide material for appreciation and class discussion.
Intermediate Italian II
It is a continuation of Intermediate Italian I. Students will be introduced
to contemporary Italy through selected readings from newspaper articles, magazines, short stories, and Italian anthologies. The material will serve as a tool to review the grammar, introduce and expand new grammatical structures, and to further develop and practice oral and written skills.
Advanced Conversation and Composition I
This course will further develop the student's fluency in speaking and
writing Italian. Oral practice includes active use of the language. Selected authentic material will be employed for classroom discussion. Written compositions are encouraged for the development and improvement of
the written language.
Advanced Conversation and Composition II
It is a continuation of Adv. Conv. and Comp. I. This course is designed to develop each student's ability to communicate effectively in Italian. Emphasis will be on the development and improvement in articulation for effective communication in Italian. Written compositions will be required.
Italian for Travel
A course especially designed for those planning a trip to Italy. Visitors to Italy will find this course beneficial and highly informative. Emphasis will be placed on communicative Italian. Class discussion will focus on Italian art, music, food, and festivals. Aspects of geography will also be presented.
